Lamp of Learning Public Speaking Seminar calendar event ‘Details’
Are you a junior or mid-level executive with plans on being a senior executive? It's okay to admit it.
One of the best ways to ensure that happens as quickly as possible is to perfect your writing, speaking and presenting skills.
Maybe you’re a senior exec who loves passing on your knowledge to the young folks, but agonizes over doing presentations. We have you covered here as well.
Most people hate standing in front of a group of people speaking or training. They never know what to talk about, how to talk about it or how to not feel sick to their stomach about the whole process.
What if there were a simple, systematized process to help you answer all of those questions?
What if there were a way to break everything down into checklists and templates so you didn’t have to think about or worry about anything?
What if there were a way to not rack your brains for weeks over putting together an interesting and informative presentation without dying of anxiety the whole time?
Well, thanks to the Lamp of Learning there is!
On October 14, The University Club will be presenting their second member benefit business seminar. This 90-minute excursion of creativity will take you into the wonderful world of crafting and performing anxiety-free, fun and engaging presentations for any audience in any setting.
Plan to join us for some light morning snacks, do a little networking, and then hold on to your hats for a fast-paced, partially scripted, partially customized on-the-fly demonstration of how you can “eradicate ‘Death by PowerPoint’” in your next speech, planning meeting or training presentation.
Even better, all proceeds of this event benefit the Lamp of Learning and their scholarship program for deserving first generation college students in the local San Diego area.
Seating is limited, so RSVP as soon as possible, as seats will surely sell out. Special pricing for this event is extended to all University Club members and their personal guests.
Avoid the morning rush and plan on being early to get maximum benefit from a special pre-seminar activity. Drop a business card in the bowl for a chance at some great door prizes at the conclusion of the training. Your time is valued and the event WILL end on time, so don't miss a second.
See you there!
