What an amazing group of students we have this year! Join us for the Lamp of Learning breakfast and meet them all yourself. We will have a number of alumni coming back as well so you can reconnect with old friends and see what they are up to now.

This year our guest speaker will be from our own Lamp of Learning Alumni!

We will have two speakers at the event.

1) Fadi Albanaa was a Lamp of Learning student that graduated in 2019. He is now finishing up his education at UCLA. He will be telling us about his experiences at UCLA and building his community. He is looking forward to letting our current seniors know what worked for him when he went away to school.

2) Joe McClain Jr. is a 20 year retired Navy veteran, spoken word artist, author and mental health advocate. Born in East Chicago, Indiana, he graduated with a 3.8 GPA and looked to achieve higher education. To avoid a financial burden on his parents, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Throughout four deployments and one overseas tour, he continued to pursue higher education class by class, while also pursuing his passions in writing and speaking. As a now 11x published author and avid speaker, his goal is to ensure that the next generation has the necessary tools to succeed. 

We are looking forward to the opportunity to introduce our amazing Lamp of learning students to you as they prepare to leave for universities across the country! If you missed the opportunity to meet our seniors, come have a great breakfast and meet them!
